Since the mountains went up, the lighting over the mine scene was lacking, so I separated the RR halves and added another wafer LED. Here's a shot of that going on. It's pretty easy to separate and slide the halves around, because of the hockey puck feet, with attached felt. Works just like furniture sliders. The halves join back up precisely with dowels, and connect electrically with a trailer plug.

The next 3 shots were taken while the halves were split, with views not normally accessible to the camera.

Tree planting and scenery work continues. I'll say it's almost, but not quite, done (the first half). I've ordered some more trees - thought I had enough to finish the half, but came up short. People, clutter and junk, and a stubborn mule have arrived at the abandoned silver mine; more Aspens and conifers have been planted; more detail at the trestle bridge (but more to come).

On the bench, working on structures which will go on the second, more populated half of the RR. This depot is one of the more frustrating ones, but it's getting there.
