Seven more buildings have been completed and "planted", all with lighting. All of the remaining streetlights have been added along the road, and are wired and functional, as well as some new lighting in the turntable / engine house area. Some (but not all) additional details have been added around the buildings.

Three of the buildings - the service station garage, the firehouse, and the chicken shack - have open doorways or a service counter that allows a view inside. I've added some details inside of these. More details, vehicles, people and animals, and more low vegetation and trees, are yet to come.

Yost's and Ruark's are named for friends; only Jim, I think, will recognize the name on the sporting goods store; and fans of the TV series "Breaking Bad" should recognize the name on the chicken shack.

There are only two more structures left to build, but quite a few more cars and trucks. Believe it or not, these usually take as many hours (days, weeks) to complete as the structures.

Fish are now in place in the creek bed! They're mounted on 2mm (.080") dia. clear acrylic rod, which, unless you know it's there (as you now do!), will be nearly invisible once the "water" is poured. Funny how the one circled in red looks more like another "sacrificial rabbit" than a fish, but it's just the angle it's facing that makes it look that way.

Regarding the water pour, the resin I'm using has some room temperature and humidity requirements to cure properly, and those ranges must be held for about a week. That's easy enough to do in the heating season, but for my own comfort, I prefer to keep my heat on the low side, especially at night. I do have an oil-filled radiator I can use just in that room, but of course that's more difficult to regulate. I hope to be able to make the pour in March.

That's it for now - here's a snapping turtle on a rock ledge over the creek bed.
